For Our Children Foundation charity initiative “Volunteers’ Evening”, has been in existence for 10 years. The foundation provides professional social services for the most vulnerable children at a young age by promoting permanent and secure family relationships and intense stimulation to help them actively learn about the world around them and discover their potential.

The guests of the event were greeted with Iris wine, creation of the boutique family wine cellar “Chateau Burgozone” which was served at the cocktail.

Traditionally, as every year, an auction of valuable and attractive items of high emotional value was held.

A partner and donor of the anniversary edition is the boutique family wine cellar “Chateau Burgozone”. For the charity auction the cellar donated a three-liter bottle of Collection Philippe red cuvée, harvest 2015. It is hand bottled, hand sealed with French wax, which allows long storage and is in circulation of only 10 bottles. The first blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Marselan and Syrah was created in 2014, for the occasion of the birth of a new member in the owner’s family – Marinovi family.

Also on offer for the auction was Chateau Burgozone Chardonnay Premium 2009 – the first Bulgarian white wine with a Grand Gold Medal from the World Competition in Brussels and 90 points from Wine Enthusiast in the USA. This is the most awarded Bulgarian white wine with a total of 6 gold medals for 6 consecutive harvests at the prestigious world competition. This rare collectible wine from 2009 has been stored under special conditions and has been dislodged from the family reserve of the boutique cellar for the auction.

„One of the wines we donated to the auction is a rare collectible wine, but the other two are not inferior in their unique taste and quality. We are honored to be partners in an event with such a significant cause”, says Stefan Marinov, owner of the Chateau Burgozone boutique family wine cellar.

The raised funds of 181 940 BGN will be provided to the two early childhood development centers in Sofia and Plovdiv and will support 800 children from 0 to 7 years and their families.
